50th ANNIVERSARY INVITATION

The shell for this invitation was sealed with an interlocking clasp of a gold 5 and 0. Once opened, a translucent velum photo of the couple from fifty years ago lifted up to reveal the invitation letterpressed into subtly textured paper.

When I saw this photo in a pile of family pictures, I came up with the theme "look back and celebrate." This became the theme for the evening, and appeared in gold foil on the velum with the photo.
