Just Fabulous - Kensington is the culmination of Chef Beryl Byrd's lifelong dream of opening a neighborhood cafe that would appeal to those searching for a special place and fabulous dessert. Chef Beryl is excited to become a member of the Kensington community, a beautiful neighborhood with a small town feel.

The cafe features desserts enjoyed by patrons of establishments such as The Marine Room, L' Auberge Del Mar, La Jolla Country Club and the Thornton Winery. Chef Beryl, a successful entrepreneur, has built a thriving, wholesale business with a highly respected client list over the past 16 years.

In her own words, "I love dessert. My favorite part of dessert is the very first bite. A delicious jolt of something perhaps unexpected but nonetheless intriguing. And then, finished off, long before boredom sets in, leaving a fond memory and looking forward, with great anticipation, to the next tempting morsel. The Dessert Collections are just that. An assemblage of items which complements each other with an emphasis on flavor, beauty, and presentation. You will encounter some old favorites, with a twist. You will also find some things you might not ordinarily try but resistance is futile! A seduction is imminent. And we will leave you wanting more."

And of course, a full dessert display case filled with the sparkling gems that people have come to expect from Just Fabulous Pastries such as Chocolate Decadence Torte, Strawberry Bagatel and Lemon Delice.
